The Big Lab is no ordinary laboratory...
With 32,000 square feet of WIDE-OPEN space and GIANT customized activities, students will conduct ENORMOUS investigations, make HUGE discoveries, and have MASSIVE amounts of FUN through inquiry and exploration!

Field Trip Programs
All field trip programs support California State Science Education Standards and Next Generation Science Standards.
Big Lab Field Trips
Each Big Lab program can accommodate a class of up to 40 students, and lasts approximately 75 minutes.

Discovery Lab Field Trips
Each Discovery Lab program takes place in a state-of-the-art lab classroom adjacent to the Big Lab, and can accommodate a class of up to 25 students. Discovery Lab programs last approximately 60 minutes.

Field Trip Reservations
Call 213-744-2019 or visit the Field Trips and Groups page for details about booking a program. All programs must be scheduled at least one week in advance.
Cost: $9 per student, minimum of 15 students
All programs require a $25 non-refundable deposit to confirm your scheduled date and time. The deposit is applied to the cost of your program. Programs include admission to the California Science Center.
