NGSS 101 for TK-5th Teachers
Join us in this unique, one-day Hands-On professional learning experience! Participants will walk away with a deeper understanding of the Next Generation Science Standards, specific strategies for integrating Science with English/Language Arts and Mathematics, grade level-specific lessons, and take-home resources.
You will explore and experience the Three-Dimensional learning approach, the significance of Crosscutting Concepts for student learning, science notebooking across content areas, Science & Engineering Practices and an introduction to the Engineering Design Standards.

The California Science Center offers high-quality, differentiated professional learning sessions designed to support the AWARENESS, TRANSITION and IMPLEMENTATION of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) into existing curriculum.
