GAME DAY! 26th Annual Discovery Ball on April 26, 2025

Step up to the plate for the California Science Center’s all-star 26th Annual Discovery Ball on Saturday, April 26. Enjoy an extraordinary evening of celebration featuring an exclusive preview of GAME ON! Science, Sports & Play. Have a swing at a variety of interactive experiences with virtual guidance from LA-based mentor athletes to discover how the scientific principles behind sports can empower your life AND your game. 

Chaired by Andrew Barth, retired Chairman of Capital Guardian Trust Company, the Discovery Ball is the California Science Center Foundation’s signature annual benefit event. The black-tie gala has been described as “a virtual who’s who of the Los Angeles business community” by the Los Angeles Business Journal. It consistently places in the top 5 annually in the benefits category of the Top 100 Events in Southern California by BizBash Magazine and recently won Special Events Magazine’s 2020 Gala Award for Best Fundraising Event.

Proceeds from the Discovery Ball help sustain the educational exhibits, programs and operations that make the Science Center a world-class destination for science learning, with FREE general admission that allows us to serve a diverse audience of children, families, students and educators. Sponsor your table today!
