ET-94 Street Transport: FAQ

ET-94 has arrived in Marina del Rey! In advance of its transport through the streets of Los Angeles to the California Science Center, here are the answers to some frequently asked questions about joining the celebration as ET comes home.

Can I see ET-94 while it is in Marina del Rey?

Yes! From May 18-20, the public can view ET-94 while it is in Marina del Rey. It is located near Fisherman’s Village. There will be a public viewing party in Burton Chace Park from 5 PM to 9 PM on Friday, May 20. Please click here for more information on this event.

When is the best time to watch ET move through the city streets? Where are the best viewing spots?

The best times and locations to view ET-94 as it travels to the Science Center include:

- Approximately 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM: Westchester Parkway near Sepulveda

- Approximately 8 AM - 9:30 AM: Arbor Vitae between Inglewood Ave. and Rosewood Ave.

- Approximately 6:30 PM - 8 PM: The "finish line" at the California Science Center in Exposition Park

Not only are these great places to see the ET, you'll likely be able to see some of our special guests for the transport: NASA astronauts!

When can I see ET-94 at the California Science Center?

You will be able to view ET-94 during your visit to the California Science Center as early as Sunday, May 22. However, optimal viewing will be after Wednesday, May 25 after the California State Science Fair, which is hosted at the Science Center, has concluded.
